Siletz Tribal Housing Department's Mission Statement
With funds provided by the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act and other resources, the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians (CTSI) will continue the operation of a housing program whose overall mission will be to ensure that low income Siletz Tribal Members have the opportunity to obtain housing that meets his/her needs, is affordable, and provides a safe, healthy living environment.
During the CTSI office closures, rent and house payments may be made by phone or by dropping a check or money order into the mail slot below or mailed to:

COVID-19 Housing Relief Assistance
The CARES Act funded COVID-19 Emergency Rent, Mortgage, and Energy Relief Assistance programs have ended. For low-income households, mortgage, rent and energy assistance will still be available through the STHD.
Low Rent Apartments & Home Ownership
Mutual Help Homes
To qualify for this program, the applicant must have an income of at least $20,000 annually. This is a homebuyer program and payments are based on the household's income minus deductions, as applicable. There is a waiting list based on a first-come, first-served basis based on a formula of bedroom and household size as determined by the STHD staff. The Siletz Tribal Housing Department strives to construct or purchase new housing units whenever possible to expand the number of homes available for purchase.

Low Rent Apartments
At this time, the STHD has fifty-seven low-rent apartments and one low-rent house located in Siletz. This program provides affordable housing for low-income families according to NAHASDA's income guidelines. Rent is determined on an income formula. There is a waiting list maintained on a first-come, first-served basis.

Elders Rental Cottages
Nesika Illahee
Nesika Illahee Apartments are affordable housing in Northeast Portland with Siletz preference in 20 units. This complex opened in 2020, and has a total of 59 units. There are 13 studios, 30 1-bedroom units, nine 2-bedroom units, and seven three-bedroom units.
