Mutual Help Homes

At this time the STHD has eighty-four mutual help homes. To qualify for this program, the applicant must have an income of $20,000 annually. This is a homebuyer program and payments are based on the household's income minus deductions, as applicable. There is a waiting list based on a first-come, first-served basis based on a formula of bedroom and household size as determined by the STHD staff. The Siletz Tribal Housing Department strives to construct or purchase new housing units whenever possible to expand the number of homes available for purchase.
