Social Services
The Social Services Department, Programs I, is made up of five Programs that relate to Human Services.
Each Program has lead staff and support staff that have Federal and Tribal regulations to follow.
What is the Health Family - Healthy Child Project?
A model for Siletz Social Services Program designed to:
- Prevent abuse & neglect of Siletz Tribal children through early intervention.
- Provide Siletz Tribal clients and families with a coordinated network of services and community resources.
Why was the HFHC Project created?
- To prevent child abuse and neglect (help families before point of crisis).
- To create a single entry access method of service delivery (offer multiple services through a single intake).
- To implement the Systems of Care model, in all aspects of Tribal Assistance through CTSI 477-TANF and Indian Child Welfare.

Assessment
The H.U.G. (Health Understanding Guide) will be used with TANF and ICW clientele. This will help identify the strengths of each individual family. Call the HFHC staff to set an appointment to discuss your situation with staff.
