Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Siletz Tribal Human Resources Department to obtain, develop and train the most important resource the Tribe has – human resources. This department will provide service to Tribal programs and employment applicants in an efficient, respectful and helpful manner. It will assist employees with skill development to ensure quality services to Tribal members and personal growth of Tribal employees.



Applications may be mailed, emailed, faxed, or hand-delivered to our office. 

Please note that applications at this time cannot be emailed through the CTSI website.  Applications may be emailed directly to the human resources email.  Applications must be complete and contain the applicant’s signature.    If you wish to apply for multiple positions with The Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians, please submit a new completed application for each position desired.

Incomplete applications, late applications, and resumes without an application will be returned.  CTSI requires that a Tribal application be completed.  Resumes will not be accepted in place of a completed application.

Associate's degree and 4 years' experience in any combination of the following: information management, database development/management, complex data processing, and reporting systems and statistical analysis -OR- an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Experience in: Developing databases, inputting data and extracting reports. 6-months preferred. Operating Access, Excel, SPSS, Eaglesun, Crystal Reports or other relevant software. Using general office equipment. Ability to: Communicate effectively using both verbal and written skills. Work with a wide variety of people and be able to communicate effectively and relate to Tribal and community members, staff, Federal, State and local agencies. Demonstrate organizational skills and ability to work in both the data department and the enrollment department. Other: Must possess a valid Oregon State driver's license, insurance and be eligible to drive a GSA vehicle.

Oversee and manage the demographic data within the Planning Department. Provides daily and back up support for the enrollment department. Assist staff in carrying out the deliverables of various grants or projects. Organize and store hard copy data. Track and coordinate the data entry of formative, qualitative and/or quantitative research instruments. Write/edit formative, qualitative or quantitative data formatting programs for multiple departments, grants and programs. Monitor data entry quality, maintaining accuracy. Process and backup newly entered data batch files and maintain hard copy of newly entered batches. Maintain data processing logs and relevant computer output logs. Complete timely and accurate reporting as required by the tribe, grants and other relevant deadlines. Maintain cuff account of expenditures to assure compliance with budget restraints. Extract data and prepare reports to fulfill information requests of tribal staff, Council and tribal members and other Federal, State or local agencies. Assist with conducting Community Meetings. Provides Administrative clerical support to department as needed. Conduct grant performance evaluations as necessary to fulfill grant requirements
Other duties as assigned.

All new employees will serve a six-month probationary period to enable the General Manger to determine their suitability as a tribal employee. After the six-month probation the employee will be evaluated of his/her performance and at that time it will be decided if the employee is entitled to a regular employee status.
