CTSI requires a Tribal Application be completed, Resumes are not accepted.

Introduction:
This position is responsible for the Tribal enrollment process, which includes research, maintenance, and verification of information for each applicant.

Requirements:
High School diploma or GED and two years experience in enrollment, vital statistics, or automated database management, - OR - an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Knowledge of:
Accessing research information from a variety of resources (i.e. libraries, books, microfilm, census, and archives). Experience in: Operating database software, including proficient use of Access. Ability to: Communicate and relate well to a wide range of people. Type 40 words per minute. Handle difficult and/or delicate situations in relation to Tribal enrollment. Manipulate data and prepare written reports. Travel occasionally, and work some weekends.

Duties:
Provide assistance to applicants for tribal enrollment. Provides mailing labels for newsletters, elections, and other large mail outs. Process enrollment applications according to established Tribal ordinance, policy, and procedures. Maintain and update enrollment files (automated and physical). Maintain departmental logs (applications, C.I.B.S, etc.) Research and verify information on enrollment applications. Review enrollment application/documents and submit recommendations to tribal council. Issue tribal certifications of enrollment. Maintain records of all documentation issued. Produce identification cards for tribal members and Tribal Employees. Extract, interpret, and provide statistical data and written reports to tribal programs and outside agencies. Develop and maintain departmental operating procedures consistent with the Enrollment Ordinance. Oversee and administer the death benefit program. Provide genealogy information conforming to confidentiality requirements. Maintain and update Tribal Voter Signature Card in accordance with the Election Ordinance. Maintains and provides information to Trust Officer and Accounting for Timber and Gaming distributions. Maintains records retention as required by Federal and Tribal laws. Coordinates distribution checks. Coordinates coverage for Enrollment during absences. Other duties as assigned.

All new employees will serve a six-month probationary period to enable the General Manger to determine their suitability as a tribal employee. After the six-month probation the employee will be evaluated of his/her performance and at that time it will be decided if the employee is entitled to a regular employee status.

Conditions of Employment:
