Emergency Rental Assistance Program

The COVID-19 pandemic poses an immediate and imminent threat to the health, safety, and well-being of the Tribe.  The purpose of the ERA Program is to provide emergency rental assistance for the payment of rents and utilities, and arrearages for the same, for low-income Tribal households who have disproportionately suffered from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. To participate in the ERA Program, an Applicant must first submit a complete, written Application on the forms provided by STHD.  Applications for the ERA Program must be submitted to the STHD by mail, email, fax, or dropping off the Applications to the following address:
