New employees are required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination prior to their first day of employment or submit a request for medical exemption to the Human Resource Manager, prior to starting employment.

Introduction:

Perform screening duties for all patients and visitors of the Clinic to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 within the facility.

Requirements:

High School diploma or GED. Knowledge of: Clinic services. Ability to: Respond courteously and professionally to patients and guests. Ensure patients and guests comply with safety measures prior to entering building. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Utilize computer applications used in providing communications to pharmacy, medical, optometry, and dental departments

Duties:

Greets all patients and visitors entering the facility through the main entrance of the Clinic. Gather mandatory screening questions responses. Perform temperature checks on all patients/visitors entering building. Enforce patient/visitor masking requirements. Enforce patient/visitor sanitize hands prior to entry. Enforces physical distancing requirements in entryway. Enforces building entrance based on current guidelines/phases. Maintains and protects patient information and confidentiality. Assists patients in locating appointment areas. Sanitizes work area frequently. Maintains a clean and organized working area. Maintains cooperative working relationships with team members, patients and visitors. Receives deliveries and communicates to various departments they have delivery. Hands out items to be picked up by patients or community partners when they arrive. Communicates with various clinic departments when patient/visitor here expectantly.

All new employees will serve a six-month probationary period to enable the General Manger to determine their suitability as a tribal employee. After the six-month probation the employee will be evaluated of his/her performance and at that time, it will be, decided if the employee is entitled to a regular employee status.

Conditions of Employment

The selectee will be required to submit to a urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use before employment.

New employees are required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination prior to their first day of employment or submit a request for exemption to the Human Resource Manager, prior to starting employment.

May need to provide DMV Driver Record and proof of Automobile insurance.
